He knows

It was a rainy day at night. I was coming from office in bus. It was too late, which makes me a little nervous to step out of the bus. I hold my bag so tight and step out of the bus and ran towards the bus shed. I see no one there. It was 10: 30 pm and my phone's battery was dead. Suddenly I saw someone running in in the rain. He was alone and he made himself an umbrella with his handm my eyes were telling him to get inside this shed. Just like my wish, he came inside. He shook his head for getting rid of the water from the hair and he asked me " do you need any help? " I said yes and he gave me his mobile. I called my colleague to come and pick me up. I looked at him while I'm giving his mobile. There were water droplets in his eyelashes trying to fall down. He was wearing a white t-shirt and the rain makes it so transparent. I could see his body hair through his t-shirt. He wasn't even looking at me, he took a cigarette from his pocket and light it up. He doesn't even ask me a thing which is odd. I could see him breathing heavily with his chest while smoking. He was so tall, his eyes were brown and his beard and moustache were trying to hide his thin lips. I was looking at him like a kid went to a carnival. I was feeling so cold and I scratched my hands to make myself warm... i slowly walked near to him.. suddenly I heard the car horn. It was my colleague. He came outside with umbrella. I was so wet already.. I get in to the umbrella and I don't see him while I turned around. He disappeared. I get in to the car and started looking for him through the window.. I saw him going in to an apartment near to the bus shed and I smiled automatically... My heart said I'll meet him again...

The Trek Inside Conolly’s Plot – Teak Plantation at Nilambur

College days are always filled with little adventures, and one such memorable experience was our trip to Conolly’s Plot in Nilambur. The trip was part of our fifth module at MDC, and though it was academic in purpose, it turned out to be far more than just an ordinary study visit. Two of our teachers and eight students, including me, set out together on this short but beautiful journey. The Journey Begins We boarded our college bus up to Pandikkad and from there switched to a private bus that would take us to Nilambur. The ride was a little tiring, and I even felt a bit nauseous along the way. Still, the excitement of visiting the famous teak plantation kept my spirits high. We reached around 11:30 AM. At the entrance, I treated myself to some salted gooseberries – a simple but refreshing snack that instantly lifted my mood. What made the journey even more special was the way our teachers mingled with us. They weren’t just supervisors but felt more like companions, sharing jokes and en...

I've always been drawn to places where the air is fresh, the landscapes are painted in a hundred shades of green, and life moves at a gentle, unhurried pace. That’s exactly what I found in Wayanad, Kerala’s enchanting hill station. Tucked away in the misty folds of the Western Ghats, Wayanad is a land where every turn reveals something magical—from ancient caves and cascading waterfalls to vast tea plantations and whispering forests. My trip to Wayanad was an unforgettable journey, a perfect blend of serene relaxation and thrilling adventure. Day 1: Chasing the Clouds at Chembra Peak and the Heart-Shaped Lake My Wayanad adventure began with a trek to the district’s highest point—Chembra Peak. We started early in the morning, breathing in the cool mountain air mixed with the scent of damp earth. The trail wound its way through lush tea plantations and dense forest paths. The highlight of the climb was Hridayasarassu, the heart-shaped lake that sits just below the summit—straight out...
