Emirates Airlines

  Emirates Airline is an airline based in Dubai, UAE. It is the largest airline in the Middle East. Emirates has a fleet of over 300 aircraft, serving more than 150 cities in 80 countries across six continents. The Emirates group,which owns Emirates,employs around 1 lakh people. Emirates started its first service on October 25, 1985. The first service was from Dubai to the cities of Karachi and Bombay. This year, emirates had service to Bombay, Karachi, and Delhi. In the beginning, the Emirates fleet had a total of four aircraft. They are two Boieng 727 aircraft,the youngest of the Boieng family,given by Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid of Dubai, and two Airbus A300 aircraft on wet lease from PIA (Pakisthan International Airlines). In the first year itself, Emirates started operating profitably,carrying 260,000 lakh passengers and 10000 metric tons of cargo. In 1986, Emirates service also started in the cities of Colombo, Dhaka,Amman,and Cairo. That one year alone was the first and last time in Emirates history that the figures showed a loss. In 1987, Emirates bought its own flight aircraft for its fleet. In July, Emirates took delivery of its first aircraft. It was an Airbus A310. In the same year, Emirates got permission to start services to London, Istanbul, Frankfurt, and Mali. In 1988, Emirates extended its service to Damascus and, in 1989, to Singapore, Manila, and Bangkok. In 1992, Emirates placed orders for seven Boeing 777s and launched service to Manchester. In 1998, Emirates Sky Cargo was launched. In 2000, the first order,World biggest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, was from Emirates. In 2005, Emirates ordered 42 Boeing 777 aircraft. Emirates is the airline with the largest number of B777 aircraft in the world today,and A380 also.Emirates Airlines, which operates the most services and carries the most passengers, was selected as the world's number one airline. 

Emirates has taken home three awards at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022, including World’s Best Economy Class, World’s Best Economy Class Catering, and, for the 17th consecutive time,World’s Best Inflight Entertainment.

The Trek Inside Conolly’s Plot – Teak Plantation at Nilambur

College days are always filled with little adventures, and one such memorable experience was our trip to Conolly’s Plot in Nilambur. The trip was part of our fifth module at MDC, and though it was academic in purpose, it turned out to be far more than just an ordinary study visit. Two of our teachers and eight students, including me, set out together on this short but beautiful journey. The Journey Begins We boarded our college bus up to Pandikkad and from there switched to a private bus that would take us to Nilambur. The ride was a little tiring, and I even felt a bit nauseous along the way. Still, the excitement of visiting the famous teak plantation kept my spirits high. We reached around 11:30 AM. At the entrance, I treated myself to some salted gooseberries – a simple but refreshing snack that instantly lifted my mood.   Proud Moment - I was able to volunteer at the Kerala Innovation Festival . _Thank God for giving me such an achievement before I even started._ ഇന്ന് എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും സന്തോഷമുള്ള ദിവസമാണ്. ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കലും മറക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ആ 2 മനോഹരമായ ദിവസങ്ങൾ. അതെ കേരള ഇന്നോവേഷൻ ഫെസ്റ്‌വെൽ (KIF) ൽ വളണ്ടിയർ എന്ന വലിയ ഒരു അവസരം ലഭിച്ചു. അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി എൻ്റെ ഒരു സുഹൃത്ത് കാണിച്ചുതന്ന അവസരം മായിരുന്നു അത്. ആദ്യമായിട്ടായിരുന്നു ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു അവസരം ലഭിച്ചത്. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ തന്നെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഫെസ്റ്റിവല്ലിൽ എന്നേയും എൻ്റെ നാടിനെയും വീടിനെയും കോളേജിനേയും introduce ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിച്ചതിൽ ഏറെ അഭിമാനം തോന്നുന്നു. ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ കേരളതിൻ്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഒരുപാട് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെ സമ്പാദിക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഒരു BBA വിദ്യാർത്ഥി എന്ന നിലയിൽ എനിക്ക് ലഭിക്കേണ്ട എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും ഈ അവസരത്തിൽ എനിക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു. വലിയ professionals, Founders, creators, students, guests, Authorities, actors and managers, etc. നെ എല്ലാവരെയും കാണാനും സംസാരിക്കാനും അസിസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യാനും കണക്ഷൻസ് ബിൽഡ് ചെയ്യാനും സാധിച്ചു. ഒരു കോളേജ് ലൈഫിനപ്പുറത്തുള്ള ...
